First Visit

We all got an opportunity to meet the sisters of Holy Names as our conversation partner. I go to their place with Sachiyo, who is my partner, and last Tuesday was our first visit by ourselves. In fact, our sister didn't feel well, so the other sister whose name was Ellen became our conversation partner, instead. I was actually a bit nervous, because I thought it wouldn't be like the teenagers talking. Then, it was different to talk with her, but it was very interesting. Of course she's lived in this world before I was born, but it sounded so funny that what she was talking about was mostly before I came this world. She has been to Japan very long long time ago, and she still remembers what she's done there although it's not all of them. How nice it was! The memory, which is still clear, must give her big impact! We also talked about Seattle and East coast. This time she gave us many topics to talk, so I'm going to bring some topics for next time. Oh! After chatting, she brought us over to her room to show her cat. It was sooooo cute, and looked sleepy, though. I touched it softly. It was a nice time to meet and talk with her.

  2. Yes! She was totally amazing! She remembers a lot of things clearly even now, and also I was so glad that she looked happy when she was telling her old stories to us.
