"Do you think that children should always obey their parents? Why or why not? Please give me an example to Support your opinion.
I think children should NOT always obey their parents because having your own opinion is one of the stages of growing. Without having their own opinion, children would be too dependent. I don't mean children should always resist. Children should "talk" with their parents. Sometimes parents say their opinions just because they did that when they were children, and not because they think it's important for their children. But the important thing is the age of them. If they are too young, they should obey their parents because their parents say something to avoid danger. Then when is the good age to have your own opinion? I think it's not decided because each child grows with different timing and in different circumstances, so they should be allowed to say their opinion gradually as they grow.
Very insightful comment, Yoko. I suppose it is better to let children be independent and do things their own way in BABY STEPS, not all at once! That is probably much less stressful for both the children and the parents!
