My ECT Trip

My favorite place is Mount Vernn.
George Washington lived here.
It is very beautiful place.
We can see the rever from the place, so I was surprised.
When I went there, it was very sunny,
and it was on Sunday, so there were many people in this place,
so I could not enter in George Washington house.
I was a little sad, but I was glad to see the beautiful view there.
And there were many sheep in the place. They were very cute!,
so I and my friends took a lot of pictures,
and I could see beautiful flowers.
I had a great time there, so I want to go there again.

My East Coast Trip!

I went to East Coast for the first time! I visited Boston and Washington D.C. I really enjoyed to visit there.

My favorite place in East Coast is Lincoln Memorial! It was very magnificent :) I could see beautiful view in there. Lincoln statue is very big and powerful! And I also visited Smithsonian Museum! I saw Moon Rock, Hope Diamond and dinosaur's bones! It was very exciting for me :P I really wanted to meet Obama, but I couldn't.

I also enjoyed to visit Boston. It was very hot like summer in Boston X(

I learned about American history through this trip! It is a pleasant memory in my life!!

My favorite:-) *

I was impressed by a lot of things in East Coast Trip. I hadn't known very much about American history, but I learned about it in classes and from my friend, SHIORI :-) So I could enjoy everything, I think.

The best impression was, of course, Lincoln Memorial! Because when I was a junior high school student, I learned about the Martin Luther King Jr. So I know him and his speech. In the trip, I could go there, where he stood and made a speech, Lincoln Memorial. Right of a picture is the statue of Lincoln. What a big statue!

When I stood here, I thought, "What was he thinking during speech?" "What did he feel?" The sight was very magnificent moreover, it was in front of Lincoln. The trip was favored by magnificent weather as far as you can see the pictures. They were sunny and warm! On the day when we took on AMTRAK, it was rainy. But it was OK for us! :-P

This is the statue of Henry David Thoreau. He was interested in living a simple life. Also his book, Walden, was very famous. His book was impressing to Martin Luther King Jr. so he made a speech, "I have a dream." I was interested in the story so my favorite place is Lincoln Memorial and Thoreau's house.

Finally, Beacon Hill is also my favorite place! Because there was very gorgeous. However, I don't want to live there. Because I am not gorgeous so it doesn't match for me. I live in Nishinomiya, Hyogo in Japan. I thought the atmosphere of Beacon Hill was like Ashiya, Hyogo. What do you think?

East Coast Trip was very very good experience for me:-) The trip was sometimes so busy but I could get more important things. I want to say " Thank you" to my family, MFWI teachers, advisors, of course, my group, GROUP 20 ! :-)

Wonderful!!!

East Coast Trip is one of my great memory in America.

The most interesting was Quincy Market!

I liked the atomosphere because there was very busy and fantastic for me.

There were many souvenir shops and food shops. I didn't know that shrimp burger is

famous so I ate only normal bread there. I regret it very much!
