To Have Own Opinions

'Do you think that children should always obey their parents? Why or why not?'

In my opinion, I don't think children need to obey every time, otherwise they won't know how to express their feelings and thoughts. It seems that the situation could be worse if children are not free to do whatever they want. As you watched 'The Painted Lady', Blanche went crazy finally. She must have been tired of being a good daughter. I guess that's because of her dad, and he didn't rescue her so she became such a crazy woman. This shows that just following parents' opinion is not a very good idea. To have self confidence is also significant even though it is for parents. After they listen or know what the kids would love to do, they can still consider what kind of advice or suggestions might fit them. To share opinions is better than just making children obey parents' opinions. Through my experience, I appreciate my mom, because she understands me very much and never makes me just obey her opinion. She listens to my thoughts and feelings, and if it's not okay, she puts me in a correct way. We have an argument as well, though. I really wish Blanche's dad were like my mom. Anyway, that's the reasons I don't think it is a good way for children to obey their parents all the time.
