One Of The Best Memories

It was the first time to go to Boston and Washington DC. My friends and I went there from April 7th to 12th. I love travel, so I was really looking forward to going there. Especially, I wanted to go to Harvard University, Plimoth Plantation, Lincoln Memorial, Smithsonian Institution and The White House. At Plimoth Plantation, I spoke to some actors. They taught me the difficult things to live there, foods, clothes, bath and so on. My friends and I took lots of pictures and enjoyed there, but I thought, I couldn't live there because I love big city and TV! I couldn't live without them! I ate a lobster humburger at Quincy Market! It was very good. I also went to Starbucks THREE times in Boston and DC. I love Starbucks. When I went to see Lincoln Memorial actually, I was surprised because it was very big. I have seen that in a movie, so I was excited. At The White House, I wanted to see Obama, but of course I couldn't. There were lots of people and flowers. On that day, it was raining, but when we went to The White House, it stopped raining! I was glad to see that with beautiful sky. I thought, in DC, the buildings were shorter than Boston ones, so I could see The Washington Monument from everywhere. If I go there again, I want to go to the top of the building. When I was on the way to DC, I saw lots of graffities from the Amtrack train. Did you notice?! I was really surprised because every wall was painted with sprays.I could see New York city, but I couldn't see The Statue Of Liberty. I want to see it some day. Last day, we went to Smithsonian Institution. I went to Air and Space Museum and Museum of National Hostory. The museums were very big! I bought a pink teddy bear at thier shop. I named it SAKURAKO because it is the pattern with cherry blossoms motifs. I liked it. We didn't have enough time in this time, so if I have an opportunity to go there some day, I want to visit again. I had a very good time there!!!!

  1. Saeko, I'm so glad that you had a good time! I went with TG5 and I also had a good time. I thought it was funny because when we tried to see the White House, at first the road was blocked off. When we asked why, they said the Obama kids were playing with their new puppy outside! What a sweet family!
