My great memory

I spent great time during East Coast Trip. I was impressed by many scenes, especially in Washington D.C. There are no high buildings, so we can see Washington monument everywhere, and I felt the sky seem to be wide. What a fine sight there were! It was a lot of fun for me to look at beautiful views. I took many pictures of beautiful landscape.

At the Korean War Memorial, I was really impressed. There were 19 statues of soldiers and black granite wall nearby statues. At first, I thought the wall was just stood there, but it has important meaning. Before the statues were built, people planned to build 38 statues, but there were not enough space, so they decided to built the black granite wall next to the statues. The wall reflects the statues, so we can see 38 statues of soldiers! It's interesting. I like this idea.

Then I was looking forward to shopping, but most shops were closed for Easter! Our shopping day was planned the day after Easter actually, but it was changed because the tour guide thought many shops might be closed in the day. I couldn't understand. We could hardly shop, so we spent much time sitting on a bench. I was shocked, but it became one of my memory in East Coast Trip now.

I love Boston and Washington D.C. I want to visit there again!
