East Coast Trip:-)

I went to the east coast as kind of the school trip from Apr.9th to 14th.
We had already learned about American history before we go on the trip, so it was easy for me to what happened at that places where we visited. I really enjoyed myself during the trip, especially, Plymouth Plantation. I had lots of fun to talk to the pilgrims and they answered my questions!!!! Although they are actors, they were really like from England!!! I also liked to visit memorials in Washington D.C.. Thomas Jefferson is one of my heroes because, without his job, America might haven't been independent. If I had a chance, I wanted to talk to him!! Around his memorial, there were beautiful cherry trees. I thought i would not see cherry trees this year, so I was glad to see them. I named some places I liked, but the most impressive place for me was the Arlington National Cemetery. It was a quiet but beautiful place and I wish I could be buried in the grave like that. I like the idea that only people and his family who joined the war or died for the nation can be buried there. I think it shows the respect to them and the promise that they'll never forget them. I learned about not only English or American history, but also how what the U.S. exactly was. I am glad to have this opportunity to learn about this nation much better.
